Tessel and Century Health Collaborate to Accelerate Drug Development

At Tessel, we build virtual tissues to design real drugs, for real patients.

That’s why we’re working with the team at Century Health to curate real-world data on people with COPD. (Here’s the press release.)

This collaboration will accelerate our lead candidate for lung disease – and, it will reinforce the power of our platform to match the right target with the right patient.

Here's why this is so exciting:

– COPD is the prototypical complex disease. It’s driven by distinct patterns of chronic inflammation that affect different parts of the same organ in different patients. (This is part of what we’re digging into, with Century.)

Lots of lessons for diseases of tissue remodeling and aging more broadly, throughout the body.

– There is a world beyond academic medical centers, hard as that is to believe in Boston…

– This all started when I met Vish at a reception during JPM last year. That’s the magic of trekking to SF every January, despite the cold and the rain and walking uphill both ways to your next meeting.
